On Saturday my mom graduated with her master’s degree in Public Administration! She has been working on it for five and a half years. On top of going to school my mom also works full time and has two kids and a husband to take care of. My mom never missed a school conference, a flute recital, or a band concert. She was always able to do it all and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful mom!

Graduation was really long but it was fun seeing my mom walk across stage and get her diploma! Afterwards my family went to take pictures with President Dunn and then went to dinner at a fancy restaurant. I had a great day celebrating my mom and all of her accomplishments!

In other news, today I found out that I made the Dean’s List for this semester! This means that I received a 3.5 or higher GPA! I am so excited that all of my hard work paid off! The rest of the day I watched a little Netflix, did some laundry, and went Christmas shopping with my mom.

I am ending my night watching a Mickey Christmas movie and drinking an egg nog shake! Happy Holidays everyone!
