Monday Funday

I have a love-hate relationship with Mondays.  On one hand I love them because they are a fresh start to a new week of possibilities. On the other hand, I hate them because it means another week of work and school. But this Monday was particularly exciting because it was the day EVERYTHING for my class was due. My class ends of Wednesday so today our final project was due. The final project included the project itself, a paper, and a presentation. So I have been dreading today since the beginning of the semester.

Three reasons why I hated this project:

1. We had to run an organization and we didn’t get to pick what kind of organization. So our professor assigned us all the task of running a car wash where we had to raise the money for the Entrepreneur Club. I am not in that club so I don’t feel inclined to raise money for them but since it’s for a grade I had to.

2. It was a group project so I was randomly placed with four people that I didn’t know. One guy ended up not helping us or showing up to anything. So we wrote him out of our group. It wasn’t fun. However, the girl in my group was really nice and I actually liked her! So that was good.

3. I had to write the paper and do the presentation by myself. Once again, group projects suck! One person always does all the work and that person is always me!

My professor is a funny guy though and he doesn’t like to completely screw us over at the end of the semester. So he surprised us by bringing our final exam to class with him and giving them to us! Our final exam is now a take home exam for anyone that was in class today! I am so happy about that!

I was dreading today but it actually turned out to be a pretty great day, especially for a Monday. I ended my day with dinner with my family and a nice hot shower. I have to be at work at 7:30 tomorrow morning to open. Yay!

How did you spend your Monday? And how do you feel about group projects?
