Today Life of Hayley turns one! (Check out my first blog post here) In the beginning I posted sporadically with no goals or future in mind. I have grown to love blogging and have recently began to invest more time and energy into my posts. It really feels like I just started this blog when in reality I have been doing this for a year now….wow.
First of all, I would like to thank all of my loyal followers who have been with me from basically the beginning. I have learned so much from you and have gained inspiration from your posts. Thank you to all of my followers who put up with my rambling. I would also like to thank all of you reading this, even if you haven’t heard of me before. Every time my blog gets read it makes me so unbelievably happy because honestly this site feels like a part of me that I am sharing with the internet.
Life of Hayley has come a long way in only a year and I am so excited to watch it grow over the next years! I am thrilled to have come this far and can only hope that I can continue to blog and meet new people through this experience. I look forward to blogging about my experiences studying abroad in London and I hope that someone somewhere is helped by my story.
I love reading other blogs because it makes me feel like I actually know the writer, like I’m their friend and we are talking over coffee. Blogging is something that is so personal but it is important to share your story and your experiences with others. I’m happy to be a small part of the huge blogging community and would love to get more involved in the future!
The reason I started this blog was because I was anxious about turning twenty. I decided to create a “Twenty Five Before Twenty Five” list where I wrote down 25 things that I wanted to do before turning 25. Writing this list and blogging has already pushed me to do some of the things on this list such as riding in a hot air balloon and studying abroad.
Some of my favorite posts have been:
- A Girl’s Best Friend Part Two
- Florida 2014
- London Is Calling-And I am Answering!
- I’d Rather be at the Lake
- How to Remain Positive
- London, Here I Come!
- Meet Megan
- Twenty One
- Spring Break: Arizona
Thanks for your support over this last year! I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you and growing this blog even more!
