I love to travel to Europe but never really take the time to travel around the United States. There are so many places to see in my own country but Europe is so exciting that I always choose to save our big trips for somewhere in Europe instead.
Today I’m sharing my United States Travel Bucketlist in hopes that it will inspire me to plan some trips within my own great country.
- Washington, DC
- Maine
- Boston, MA
- San Diego, CA
- Seattle, WA
- Hawaii
- Minneapolis, MN
- Alaska
- Charleston, SC
- New York City
- Colorado
- Texas
- Salem, MA
- New Hampshire
- All of the National Parks

I used to only think of big trips as going out of the country. But then I realized that there are a lot of amazing places right here in the US. For the past few years, I’ve done a lot of traveling throughout the States and even went on a 6-state road trip. You have a lot of cool places on your list. I went to Maine for the first time last summer and loved it. It’s so pretty there. Alaska is high on my list. I want to do an Alaskan cruise since I’ve heard it’s the best way to see most of the state.

I thought the same thing. We only used to travel to other places in Michigan and the midwest when I was growing up. After visiting Europe for the first time I was hooked and only wanted to go there. I have also been trying to visit more places in the US now. Maine is at the top of my list! I would love to go on an Alaskan cruise as well! I’ve heard so many great things about them 🙂
